In compiling this synopsis of the history of The Celtic Boys Club to date, the author has relied heavily on the recollections of many of the principal players in the Club’s history and whatever records are currently available. We apologise in advance for any errors or omissions and would welcome any relevant information that you might want to send to us for inclusion. We will continually update the history as appropriate. This section on the history of the Club in the 1974 European Youth Cup would not have been possible without the assistance of Mr Frank Cairney. We are grateful to him for that assistance.
