Defencivelly Celtic marshaled by an outstanding Michael McDowell with new bhoy Kyle Ckrystal slotting beside him at centre half ,the hoops where rarely troubled but when called upon Anton Black had two outstanding saves from a dangerous United midfield. Both teams had further chances but with half time looming Celtic's dominance was lacking a goal they deserved.

Celtic came out after the break hungary for the goal that would reward them for there toils, it duelly came, latching on to a clearance, after some good forward play by his striking partner, James Pollock struck an unstoppable shot into the top corner from all of twenty five yards 1-0 Celtic.More was to come and after good work from Sean MacLean on the right the young hoops earned a corner, Sean Reilly swung the ball in,Pollock with the easiest of tasks nodding in at the front post 2-0 Celtic. The young hoops where in control now and with every attack they looked like scoring.Drumchapel where not finished though and Celtic's defence and sub keeper Dylan Harvey making some important saves, thwarted United's attack.Celtic where now on attack constantly and Pollock's hat trick wasn't far away, running on to a through ball from midfield, he cheekily lobbed the keeper from thirty yards "Wonderful Goal" 3-0. The Drumchapel keeper by this time totally blameless for any of the goals was substituted therafter. The hoops awarded a penalty soon after, great play from Ryan "shin" Clark resulting in the United defender hauling him to the ground, Ryan Sheilds the former United winger shot saved by the subsitute keeper.Drumchapel made a fight of it with a well taken strike from just inside the box made it 3-1. Celtic though straight from the kick off made it 4 a wonderful defence splitting pass from Kieran Barkey let Pollock in, running through on goal and finishing superbly.

A good start for the young hoops with some outstanding performances,it's early days but on this showing they wo'nt by far away from the honours come the end of the season.
